Martha
Cottrill was born around 1824 in Wood Dalling. She married John Eke
(1820) in Norwich in 1840. In 1841 she was living in Kelly's Lane,
Saxthorpe. In 1851 she was living in Corpusty. In 1861 she was living
in Wellington Road, East Dereham. In 1871 she was a widow and living
in Theatre Street, East Dereham - where she was also living in 1881. In 1891 she was living in St. John's Alley in Hackford. In 1901 she was a housekeeper in the household of her widowed daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Eke, at 39 Wellington Road in Bromley.
