MARIA EADE (1784 - 1863)
Maria Eade was christened on 24th October 1784 in Westleton and was the daughter of William Eade (1745) and Mary Eaves. About 1811 she married William Garrould (1776). In 1841 and 1851 she was living with her daughter Louisa in the almshouses in Halesworth. She was working as a shoe binder in 1851. In 1861 she was living by the churchyard in Halesworth. Maria died in the Alms House in Halesworth on 30th June 1863 from old age and was buried on 4th July in Halesworth Cemetery. Her age was given as 78.
