| Sarah
Ann Houchen was born around 1828 in Hingham and was the daughter of
William King Houchen (1794) and Susanna George. She was the granddaughter
of Edmund Houchen (1762). In 1841 she was living with her widowed mother in Stone Lane, Hingham. In 1851 she was aged 23 and living at Whittle
End, Witchford, Cambs.
