| William
Henry V Oldfield was born in 1878 in Norwich and was the son of William
Oldfield and Salome Elizabeth Emily Broughton (1849). He was the nephew
of John Broughton (1809). In 1881 he was aged 3 and living at 8 Salisbury
Terrace, Magpie Road, Norwich. In 1891 he was living at 27 Simpson
Street, Battersea. He married Mary Jane Cayzer (1879), the daughter
of William Cayzer and Susannah, in 1899. In 1901 he was aged 23, was
working as a miller's labourer and was living at 9 Granfield Street,
Battersea. |
