Thomas
William Purdy was born around 1871 in Little Walsingham and was the
son of Thomas William Purdy (1834) and Martha. He was aged 5 days
on census day 1871 and was living in the High Street. In 1881 he was
aged 10 and was living in the High Street, East Side in Little Walsingham.
In 1891 he was working as a painter, plumber and decorator in Little
Walsingham and living with his widowed mother in the High Street.
He married Lilias Margaret Pomfrey (1867) about 1896 in Little Walsingham.
In 1901 he was aged 30, was working as a plumber and was living in
the High Street, Little Walsingham. Lilias's brothers William and
Edmund were also living with them.
